New MHA School Briefs Novel Includes Special Story Before MVA Arc
All the action and the emotion are pretty amazing, but sometimes we just want to enjoy seeing our favorite characters hang around and chill. This slice of life aspect of UA students is captured in the My Hero Academia: School Briefs light novels.
These cover the more ordinary interaction between the students that we do not get to see in the anime or the manga. After almost a whole year, the series is back with the latest book, which will include a special episode about the villains.
The sixth light novel in the series, My Hero Academia School Briefs: Cherry Blossom by Anri Yoshi will be released on October 4, 2021. It will be available on Shueisha’sofficial website.
According to the description, the light novel will include stories set during the festival of Setsubun, spring break, and Valentine’s day. It will also include a special story about the League of Villains, which will be directly connected to the My Villain Academia arc.
Although these novels do not have anything that directly contributes to the story, that does not mean they should not be read.
These tend to give us a deeper insight into several characters that we would not get otherwise. Who knew Bakugo has the most refined palette in the class and is probably the best cook too?

They also flesh out several side characters that do not get to shine as much during the main series. There are even stories that take place during the main story like what other classes are up to during the school festival.
There might be some time before you can read the new one in English, do not forget to catch up on the previous five in the meantime.
