New Promo of the ‘Black Clover’ Movie Teases the Former Wizard King
So far, fans have been deluded into believing that the upcoming Black Clover movie will adapt the final arc of the manga and continue the story from where the anime ended.
It was recently revealed that the movie would actually be based on a completely original plot that was never covered, even in the manga.
While Asta has been shipped to the Hino Kuni in the manga’s latest chapters and all the magic knights prepare to battle Julius, Yuki Tabata has swooped in to give us the perfect story about the previous wizard king.
‘Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King,’ will premiere in Japanese theaters on March 31, 2023. Netflix will also stream the film worldwide on the same day, so you don’t have to wait for the movie for months.
A shocking new teaser reveals the identity of a new character who will serve an important role from now on in the ‘Black Clover’ franchise.
The video begins with the same old promise between Yuno and Asta to become the wizard king. To any Black Clover veteran, the first few seconds of the teaser will be like a recap.
Yet, what comes in the second half will blow your mind. The former wizard king, Konrad Leto, is shown, and this is the first time the character has appeared in the series. So, why is he coming up now?
Toshihiko Seki will voice Konrad Leto. Seki also voices Muzan in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The wizard king’s sword will play a huge role in the movie and may lead to a solution for the Julius problem as well. With Leto’s appearance, Asta and his comrades will be sucked into a new vortex of battles.
Yuki Tabata is the movie’s chief supervisor, so a mind-boggling plot with plenty of twists is guaranteed. He also drew a new visual for the film.
How is this sword special? Will it empower Asta despite his Anti-Magic capabilities? Let’s hope that it gives a long-term solution to the kingdom’s upcoming destruction at the hands of the supreme devil.
