New Promotional Video of “Frieren” Features Theme Song by YOASOBI

Immortality might seem like a great thing. But time and time, all the movies and series have proven that being immortal is a curse rather than a blessing. Frieren is also under the same condemnation as she loses her fellow adventurers.

Imagine having to bury your friends one after another. It would make anybody regretful. However, Frieren doesn’t let it hold her back; instead, she tries to move ahead. This is her journey, and here’s more information about this anime.

The official website for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime unveiled a new promotional video. The anime will premiere with a two-hour special on September 29 at 9:00 p.m. JST.

It will be the first ever anime series to premiere in NTV’s “Kinyō Roadshow,” a Friday evening programming block usually reserved for feature films.

It was first all the rage to end series with a film but now they’re more and more anime series that start with a film-length premiere. This might be an interesting way to gather attention from the fans.

The brief two-minute emphasizes Frieren’s immortality by showing the contrast between a young-looking Frieren and her aged former adventurer. It also features Frieren’s new apprentices, Fern and Stark, and a new journey to understand human life begins.

The video also previews the opening theme song “Yūsha” (Hero) by YOASOBI and the ending theme song “Anytime Anywhere” by milet.

Yoasobi is a great artist, which is reflected in the quality of the ending theme song. The promo looks incredible, and there’s no doubt this anime will be an absolute banger.

The anime deals with death and life with subtlety, and the manga version has already received numerous accolades and awards for its beautiful story.

We are all excited as the release date for this touching anime comes closer. Buckle up your seat belts as Frieren will hit you right in the feels!
