A whole chapter dedicated to Luffy battling with Kaido, followed by an amazing peek at the One Piece lore. What a great chapter we have had! All of us are so excited to step into One Piece Chapter 1038, which will bring us the remaining events of Onigashima. We are particularly interested in the Big Mom battle.
Zoro is a racist! Reddit is currently filled with hilarious racist Zoro memes. Nothing serious. It is just a joke about most of Zoro’s opponents, most recently, King, are dark-skinned people.
And it is true somehow – Oda put Miss Monday, Mr 5, Daz Bones, Pica, Ryuma, King, and a couple of others in his path. And then we have his hate for ‘Black’ Leg Sanji. Absolutely hilarious meme!
We keep getting some designs for the upcoming movie One Piece: Red. They look amazing. The creativity has been awesome and we are expecting some of the smoothest animations.
And then we have One Piece 1006. This is the latest episode and it portrayed the events that took place in the middle of the raid. Momonosuke’s location has been given out. The Kurooni virus is taking over and Hyogoro is prepared to face his death, and so on.
Anyways, it has been such a phenomenal episode. Yes, the story has been great and we are really close to the Chopper cure but we are talking about the animation. The fluidity, the lack of still and dragged-out reactions, the perfect music – it was an amazing episode to witness.
We got the results of the Hon Hikidashi yearly sales report. One Piece came in 6th in sales for 2021. It was beaten out by Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Tokyo Revengers, Demon Slayer, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Doesn’t look very impressive by One Piece standards.
We do not expect some grand reveal from One Piece 1038 manga spoilers but if they do address this Gorosei situation, it will be very interesting. Currently, so many fans are making up their own theories and Mr. Morj already has a video out saying Zunesha is Pluton!
One Piece Chapter 1038 Raw Scan Release Date:
For the 3rd week in a row, we have a break on our hands. However, this is probably the last of the breaks. In the next 3 weeks of release, we expect 3 great chapters.
Update: The break week is finally over and the raw scan translation will begin soon for everyone to read online.
One Piece 1038 raw scan is supposed to be out in the new issue of Weekly Shonen Jump and that comes out on January 26, 2022. Remember, this will be the release of the raw scans only.
Following this, we will see the raws leaked and within 2 days, the translation process will be over. We will get Korean, then French, and finally English fan scans of the chapter, all within January 28, 2022.
What we look forward to, is the official One Piece 1038 English Chapter.
This is the legal release and you should read it only from the Mangaplus website, or the viz website, or the shonen jump app, not to mention free of cost. It comes out on January 30, 2022.

One Piece Manga 1038 Predictions:
Kaido being drunk and fighting unpredictably is surely a throwback to all the drunken fighting styles featured in action movies and comics over the years. We know that martial arts have a hidden drunken technique.
Rock Lee from Naruto used it and that is a popular fight.
Anyways, we expect One Piece 1038 manga spoilers to show the effects of Kaido being inebriated. Surely, the man who is keeping the island afloat being drunk will have some severe effects.
What is going on in the Flower Capital?
The festival is nearing its end. People have had a lot of fun and are ready to start another year of misery under Orochi. We are reminded that the people are highly oppressed and free speech is not a luxury they enjoy. And with the festival nearing the end, people are readying their sky boats.
People write their wishes on these sky boats and set them afloat, hoping the wishes come true. And they are heartbreaking. One kid writes that he wants to see his mother.
A young woman writes that she wants to feed her children. We see one which reads that it wants enough water.
These are not ordinary wishes. These are desperate attempts to find a semblance of happiness. In One Piece Chapter 1038, we might see if something is done about Orochi, the man causing so much misery.
What did Kaido do?
Kaido and Luffy have been fighting for a while. And Yonko has realized that Luffy is someone worthy. Luffy is someone who can fight toe to toe with Kaido and that is a rare occurrence. And hence, Kaido drinks. It is a sign of acceptance and the beginning of his drunken fighting.
Kaido gets drunk very quickly and starts to fight again. His power isn’t diminished by a bit and he strikes Luffy with Ragnaraku’s attack. It is strong enough to highly damage a haki clad, rubbery Luffy. And it cracks the skull of the Onigashima dome.
Kaido goes through stages of drunkenness. He cries and laments and burps. He throws around dangerous attacks without care. Kaido laments destroying his beautiful castle and blames Luffy.
As he keeps this fighting, Luffy sees a chance and retaliates with his own attacks.
This barrage hurts Kaido and he is nearly sobered up. With a drunken rage and a stronger Haki, he attacks once more. And Luffy matches it with his Roc Gatling.
Both of them follow up with stronger attacks. In One Piece 1038 raw scans, we will see who stands by the end of this exchange. But the fight isn’t over by any means.
What is the deal with the Gorosei?
The Gorosei are tensed. They are happy with the chaotic reverie. Slowly, the World Government is facing more and more inconveniences. And then, they have this Wano issue on hand.
Robin has to be captured and they are trying to cover up any inconveniences that occur under the ruse that Kaido and Big Mom can kill more or less anyone.
And then we have Zunisha showing up near the World Government ships. This means Gorosei’s plans won’t be the smoothest. And lastly, what is this Devil Fruit they are talking about?
What is this legendary devil fruit that they tried to erase, the fruit that hasn’t awakened in 3 centuries? We might find out in One Piece 1038 chapter raw scans.
But this controversy about the fruit has given rise to so many theories. Maybe Zunisha is some sort of Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit. Maybe it is the Gomu Gomu no Mi, although most people would prefer the rubber fruit to be ordinary.
Mr. Morj is saying that Zunisha is Pluton. The appearance of another legendary weapon can thoroughly change the narrative! We are so very excited for the next chapters.
