Saitama sneezed the Jupiter away, defeated Garou, and learned the techniques to travel back in time to finish the fight. Apparently, he finished the fight in zero punches. All of this happened in the span of one crazy chapter. Fans deserve the peace of mind that One Punch Man Chapter 169 will bring.
After a huge run of more than 90 chapters, this has been the biggest arc of the series so far. Hard to believe that it started back on July 20, 2017. Exactly 5 years for one amazing arc. We can’t deny that we have loved it.
Murata took ONE’s webtoon and thoroughly fleshed it out. Huge changes were made and so many expositions were done. Coupled with that killer artwork, it is easy to declare that the manga has definitely surpassed the source material.
This chapter makes us wonder. Will we get an anime adaptation? Season 2 did cripple the franchise and there’s low hope for One Punch Man Season 3.
But if another Studio picks it up and does a decent job, the power of the current arc can definitely bring this series back to the limelight.
We are looking forward to One Punch Man 169. It will be the conclusion to this arc and we will see where Garou is left at.
In the source material, Saitama dragged him to the right side and he became a better person. But given the changes in the manga, what will happen to Garou?
One Punch Man Chapter 169 Release Date:
We expect the upcoming chapter to be released very soon in the next Tonari no Young Jump issue. One Punch Man 169 raw scans should be available within 4th August 2022.
Fan scans arrive very quickly for this series. Within August 6, 2022, we believe that the English translations of the chapter will be out. This is partly possible due to the cleaner, noncomplex speech bubbles of the series.
Lastly, around 10 August 2022, we will get the official English version of the chapter. It will be put up legally, by Viz, Mangaplus websites, and the Shonen jump app.

One Punch Man Manga 169 Predictions
What many of us don’t realize, is that there are two timelines now. One can’t just travel to the past and change the future like that. What happened is that Saitama and Cosmic Garou fought in Jupiter.
This is timeline A. After his victory, Saitama learned Garou’s techniques.
This led him to travel back in time and reach the past, where he goes and punches the air out of Garou, which leads to the latter losing his powers.
The moment Saitama defeated Garou in the past, we jump to timeline B. It is safe to say that the rest of the story will take place in this new timeline.
What did Saitama do after getting punched?
A naked Saitama is a dangerous thing. In this chapter, we see that Garou copies him perfectly and lands a lot of blows on him.
However, Saitama easily tanks those moves and doles out attacks of his own. And Garou is unable to withstand the force of these.
In the end, just with 1 arm, Saitama manages to subdue Garou. It is true that Garou is continuously improving his power but in the end, it is insufficient. That is because Saitama is evolving too, just at an exponential rate.
By the time Garou reaches Saitama’s current level, the latter has already improved to a new level. He constantly manages to get stronger and in the end, Saitama’s emotions took him to an entirely different level.
One Punch Man Chapter 169 will show what he chooses to do with his powers.
What was Garou’s plan?
With Saitama reaching a level of power that is completely out of bounds, Garou realizes that he will lose soon.
Followed by our hero destroying Jupiter with a sneeze, Garou gives up on winning this with his fists. Instead, he decided to simply win.
Garou punched Saitama into the Sun and left him there. Without the ability of portals, our hero was bound to die there. However, thanks to a fart, Saitama managed to escape through Garou’s own portal.
After that, it did not take much to defeat the antagonist. One Punch Man 169 will show what Garou chooses to do now.
What did Saitama do in the past?
Learning martial arts led to Saitama traveling back in time. He went ahead and punched Garou when he declared that he is a disaster-level god. A reverse in causality led to this victory achieved with zero punches!
The power of future Saitama is simply too much for past Garou to handle. He lost the fight. And now, it seems like Saitama has merged his newer and older selves.
One Punch Man 169 will handle this issue of timelines. We are curious about how it will be concluded.
