Original Anime ‘Mahō Shōjo Magical Destroyers’ to Debut in 2023
The upcoming original anime ‘Mahō Shōjo Magical Destroyers’ is a chuunibyo’s dream come true. It has an otaku hero fighting to protect his culture with three magical girls in a hard rock-themed world.
While the concept itself sounds like many weebs’ nightmare, the anime’s trailers and teasers can convince you otherwise.
The latest trailer for ‘Mahō Shōjo Magical Destroyers’ highlights the magical girl named Anarchy, who is probably one of the coolest characters ever. It also confirms the anime’s debut in 2023.
Staying true to its essence, the video starts strong with some hard rock beats while debuting Anarchy as a rebellious girl. She also looks like someone who makes irrational decisions or performs life-threatening stunts for fun.
Anarchy is one of the three girls who support and adore the Otaku Hero fighting an authority that has banned the otaku culture. The other two magical girls are named Blue and Pink and are much like Anarchy regarding opinions and practices.
The trailer has also revealed the brilliant cast that will be voicing these four characters, and here it goes:

Otaku Hero, the protagonist, is exactly like you thought he was. With an embarrassing sense of fashion and an aura of a typical weeb around him, the Otaku Hero looks like he came straight out of a harem.
However, the anime’s first key visual confirms that despite his appearance, he is a revolutionary hero who deserves the respect he gets.

Jun Inagawa, the creator, is credited for the anime’s story and character design. Since Inagawa is an underground artist and producer, he’s sure to bring something new and exciting to the table, and I can’t wait to see it.

Magical Girl Magical Destroyers is a newly announced original anime project helmed by JUN INAGAWA, an artist who is active across various subcultures such as streetwear and music.
Inagawa has collaborated with numerous apparel brands and musicians, this is the first project in which he was able to create what he “truly wanted to do.”
Additional details about the series, such as the format and the release window, have not yet been revealed.
