Oshiete Hokusai! The Animation!! will consist of a total of 10 episodes which will have a runtime of 10 minutes each. It will thus be a short anime series.
Studio CoMix Wave Films will be producing the anime. It will be directed by Naoto Iwakiri. He is a director and creator who has previously worked on the movie Kaede Newtown.
The Oshiete Hokusai! manga was first launched by Iwakiri on the “cakes” website in 2016. The full compiled volume of the manga shipped in 2017.
