All episodes of Season 1 were released on March 4, 2021, on Netflix. The series is animated by Japanese studio Polygon Pictures and produced by American company Legendary Television.
Regarding the release date of season 2, the showrunners have already confirmed it. The two seasons were greenlit together at the virtual Netflix anime festival. As of the exact release date, there is no update on it yet. However, one can expect season 2 to be released sometime in 2021.

The story is set in a realm where Kaiju runs Australia leading to a shifting of an entire continent. The plot centres around two teenage siblings, Taylor and Hayley who go on a quest to search for their missing parents.
On this arduous journey, they learn to pilot a Jaeger called ‘Atlas Destroyer ‘ as it becomes necessary for their survival. As they continue their quest, they come across a boy with incredibly unique abilities.
In the upcoming season 2, we can expect a revelation of the Boy’s history and who created him. Some cult considers the Boy as “Kaiju Messiah”, so we might see more of the mysterious cult in the coming episodes. Fans can also look forward to more stories of Atlas and Horizon and its team.
