Poupelle of Chimney Town Anime Releases New Trailer And Key Visual
Studio 4°C is releasing an anime film based on Akihiro Nishino’s Poupelle of Chimney Town (Entotsu-chō no Poupelle) picture book. Nishino claimed that both people who have read the book and who haven’t will definitely enjoy the film.

The official website released a trailer for the film on Tuesday. The trailer reveals the film’s opening date, December 25th, 2020.
It also features the film’s opening theme song “Halloween Party” by HYDE, and the anime’s ending song by Lozareena.
In the video we get so see a glimpse of the life of people in the town of chimneys. It showed us the relationship between Poupelle and Lubicchi, and how they reveal the secrets of the world and head towards an adventure.
The website also released a key visual where we get to see a view of the Chimney Town, with Lubicchi and Poupelle in it.

About Poupelle of Chimney Town
The anime is based on a picture book by Akihiro Nishino. The original picture book was launched in October 2016, and about 420,000 copies are sold so far.
The story is of a town filled with chimneys and surrounded by a wall that stands 4,000 meters. The air is always filled with smoke. None of the residents have seen a clear sky.
On the night of the Halloween festival, a deliveryman accidentally drops a heart while delivering. The heart falls in the town of chimneys and continues to beat.
