Princess Principal Third Film Release Date, KV And Cast Revealed
After a brief phase of silence, fans of the Princess Principal series can finally see Team White Pigeon back in action.
While the Princess Principal anime finished in 2017, the series continued as Princess Principal: Crown Handler – an animated film series with six films planned. The first two films released in 2021 separately, and the third one will release this spring.
On Sunday, the official website of the Princess Principal: Crown Handler series announced the release date for the third movie, titled “Princess Principal: Crown Handler – Chapter 3”. The movie will release on April 7, 2023.
The website also revealed an official trailer with a key visual, showing the Duke of Arkham at the center. A brief synopsis of the plot along with the cast members and staff has also been shared.

Princess Principal: Crown Handler – Chapter 3 will show the nobles pondering over who should succeed to the throne after Prince Edward’s funeral. Princess Mary – now first in line, struggles with the pressure of her new position while the Duke of Arkham’s conspiracy begins.
Ange and Dorothy are assigned an undercover mission as Mary’s handmaidens with the motive of investigating the royal family from within.
Actas will also return as the producing studio for the film. Prior to the film series, it also co-produced the 2017 anime series with Studio 3Hz. To celebrate the upcoming release, the first two films will also be released on several streaming sites in Japan for unlimited viewing.

About Princess Principal: Crown Handler Film Series
Princess Principal: Crown Handler is a six-part animated film series that follows the original 2017 anime. The members of the White Pigeon are assigned to investigate Bishop, a spy within the royal family. But danger lurks around every corner, and when you don’t know who you can trust, being a spy has never been more perilous for Ange and the rest of Team White Pigeon.
After the assassination of Prince Edward, Princess Mary and Prince Richard aka the Duke of Arkham are the first and second-in-line respectively. As Richard conspires to seize the throne, Ange and Dorothy investigate the situation from the inside.
The first two installments were released in 2021 separately. Princess Principal: Crown Handler – Chapter 3 will arrive in 2023.
