Its been 23 years! One Piece is celebrating its 23rd Anniversary. It is an extremely important milestone for this juggernaut of a series. Here’s to hoping more years of success for the face of Shonen Jump. In fact, Weekly Shonen Jump gave more priority to the 23rd Anniversary of One Piece over The Conclusion of Haikyuu.

Spoilers Finally Released
Finally the One Piece manga spoilers have been leaked and the war will finally start. Luffy and Yamato storm the banquet and the red scabbards have arrived to save momonosuke.
Will they succeed in their plan? Will they be able to save Momo and take out Kaido? All will be revealed in One Piece 987 and till then read our spoilers for Chapter 986.
One Piece Manga 986 Spoilers
One Piece Chapter 986 Release Date:
One Piece Manga 986 is going to be delayed. Next week is the original date for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. So Weekly Shonen Jump is on a break. The chapter drops its raw scans on 29th July, 2020.
Various scanlation teams will be picking up the chapter to translate and typeset – the language will be converted from Japanese to others. Usually French and Korean comes first, followed by English. They are supposed to come on 31st July, 2020.
Chapter 986 Official English Translation will be released on 2nd August 2020. This will be available on websites of Viz and MangaPLUS and the Shonen Jump app.

One Piece 985 Recap:
The New Onigashima Project
At the backdoor entrance of Onigashima, Kanjuro confronts the Akazaya. No Samurai has been spotted but he knew they were definitely going to come. Kanjuro is backed by multiple allies, who recognize the Akazaya. The group even has some splendidly drawn, headless warriors too.
Raizo retorts that they are still alive and Momonosuke should be freed. Kanjuro recalls that Momo got a knife and freed himself. He tried to flee and injured Kanjuro in the process.
The angered Kanjuro beat him senseless but his Kozuki blood kept him alive. He reveals that Momo is about to be executed.
Hearing this, Kiku gets ready – she dons her complete battle suit. She promises that the wound from her sword last even in the afterlife. She clashes with Kanjuro. The rest of each part engage as well.
Inside the castle, Kaido is starting his speech and the lackeys prepare the live video. Yamato and Luffy are hiding together. Yamato requests Luffy to take her onboard his ship – she is requesting as Kozuki Oden and as a friend of Ace. Luffy is skeptical. Yamato says that she has been captive all her life.
Ever since 8, she hasn’t left Onigashima.
Her hands are cuffed and if she leaves, the cuffs will explode. Whenever she talked of Oden, Kaido used to beat her up. Luffy says that he will definitely defeat Kaido and Yamato wants to join him. Luffy agrees to break the shackles – Yamato will be free after 20 years.
Kaido start speaking the following – Its been two years since the Summit War and the world is changing. The Marines have some new weapon which can handle Yonkos; that is why they abolished the Shichibukai system.
But Kaido is allying with Big Mom. Together, they will find the Ancient Weapons. Big Mom enters and declares – they will get the One Piece together and become the strongest force. They will wage war on the world. The Samurai can either join, or die. Nami and Carrot have been defeated and Zeus has been taken back.
Wano is a natural fortress. So it will become a lawless land, a pirate haven. The people will be forced to make more weapons in the factories. Orochi object and Kaido immediately chops his head off. Orochi is not useful anymore! Everyone is shocked by this.
Wano will be the base of operations for the alliance. Kaido declares that this is the final war and Wano will be the Pirate Empire. That night, Onigashima will be transferred to Flower Capital and Yamato will be the new Shogun.
Yamato and Luffy are shocked and they fall down. Yamato is strictly against being the Shogun and Luffy wants to save Momo quickly. As they run away, the beast pirates call the Tobi Roppo on them. Elsewhere, Momo is still captured; Kiku is shedding tears and her blade is bloody.
One Piece 986 Spoilers:
Right now, One Piece Chapter 986 spoilers are completely out of bounds. However, we assure you that we will upload them or maybe write an article about them soon. So keep checking our website. However, we can give you an approximation. The spoilers might come out next week, but its sort of unlikely.
You can expect some sneak peeks into the chapter before 27th July, 2020. That is what seems most likely. We will have a lot of interesting revelations in it. Maybe we’ll see if Orochi is still alive. Or maybe we’ll see that Oda has broken his own formula and did something out of the box. And what is the meaning of Kikunojo’s tears?
One Piece Chapter 986 Discussion and Predictions:
Alright so let us get to the main portion. Let us take a look at the backdoor. The Akazaya are facing Kanjuro and his team. Where is Law? We believe Law and his teammates have sneaked out to the other entrance and are heading somewhere.
One Piece 986 spoilers might show us the results of Kiku vs Kanjuro. We saw that they clashed head-on and by the end, Kiku was shedding tears, her sword had bloodstains. This firmly hints that Kanjuro is dead. He used to be a dear part of Kiku’s group and for 20 years, Kiku held him in high regard. But now, she had to strike him down. So tears are justified.
Kanjuro being dead opens up questions. Its true that now his role has come to an end and he can rest peacefully. On the other hand, it seems he has a new personality now. A shrewd one that is a direct threat to our heroes. His ruthlessness is scary – in fact, he literally made headless figures of his former friends.
The rest of the Akazaya was quick to end the lackeys. The upcoming chapter might go in-depth and show us how strong they are. Currently, Neko and Inu seem similar in strength with Ashura being slightly higher. Kiku showed formidable prowess being able to cut Kanjuro. Maybe now we’ll see Izo’s power.
Yamato wants to leave with Luffy! That is quite impressive as most fans want her as a part of the strawhats. It is a question between Yamato and Carrot. The latter has been a part of crew reactions constantly but her dream to go to cake island is fulfilled. So what’s the point of keeping her?
Yamato on the other hand has promise. She is strong and she creates a great parallel. Oden wanted to leave Wano but couldn’t – so does Yamato. Oden left in Whitebeard’s crew – it will make sense if Yamato is accepted as a part of the crew. One Piece Manga 986 might show more on this.
Kaido being cruel to Yamato simply boosts her side. It does seem very like that she will not betray Luffy. And if Luffy takes a liking to her, he will invite her. It’s been a while since Luffy has invited someone to his ship. Calling Yamato will be amazing.
Here we must point out – Yamato still has her shackles on. Luffy has promised to break them but we all know how fickle-minded he is. His attention is now diverted to Momo and maybe he will forget all about breaking the chains in One Piece 986. However, that shouldn’t hold Yamato back at all. Her shackles explode only if she leaves Onigashima – so she can fight inside it.
Not to mention, Yamato is meant to be the new Shogun of Wano. That means Kaido will probably remove her shackles himself and get her new shackles. But its all questionable. Because this is the night of the raid and this is the night of moving Onigashima. Things are getting hectic.
Next up, Orochi. Orochi has been one of the primary villains of this arc. His death is completely unexpected and raises a mountain of suspense. Let us check the three possibilities. First one is that he is dead. It would be a very different move from Oda, who generally prevents killing. But here, Kaido didn’t hit with mace, he took King’s sword and cut off the head!
One Piece manga chapter 986 might show us Orochi’s fate. He might be dead. But then again, he has a devil fruit. We know it allows him to have several heads. That probably means that Orochi won’t die until all his heads are chopped off. If Kaido didn’t know that, then Orochi still lives and is only biding his time.
The second option is that Yamato will get Orochi’s fruit. According to Mr. Morj, she is Orochi’s successor to the Wano Shogunate and maybe, she will get the fruit. After all, the fruit is like Yamata no Orochi – it has names of two characters. So Yamato will be the new serpent with 8 heads.
The last option is that this isn’t the real Orochi. He might have gotten hints about Kaido’s plan and so he had Kanjuro make an exact model of himself.. If Kanjuro is dead, his drawing models will turn to ink. In that case we’ll get to see if Orochi died for sure or not.
Next is Big Mom. It seems she has caught up to Nami and Carrot and taken them down. She also took Zeus back, but he looks unhappy. This might be the trigger for the Straw Hats. Nami is a very important member and seeing her injured, the Straw hats might jump in to rescue. Usopp and Chopper are probably close by targeting Big Mom.
Here, we should mention Sanji. He has been the one who arrives in the nick of time to save the day – he did it in Arlong Park, Alabasta, Skypiea and even Water 7. Maybe we will get to his old, cool form. He has the raid suit and he can rescue his crewmates secretly. Plus, Shinobu is absent. She is probably trying to help as well.
Lastly, the Onigashima Plan. It is unclear what is meant by transferring Onigashima. Mr. Morj is thinking that maybe the island will be moved or maybe it’s a figurative change. Either way, something big is coming up in the upcoming One Piece chapter and it can affect the tides of this assassination.
Blackbeard has already created a pirates haven in his Beehive Island. It is a lawless place and pirates live freely. But it seems Kaido is creating a superior version of that so as to fight the marines better. It will allow their base to be extremely secure and the war will be in their favor.
One Piece Chapter 986 might drop hints to the new weapon of the Marines. This must be extremely formidable. It is not a stretch to think that CP-0 is mixed among this crowd. How they will act is definitely concerning and depending on conditions, the marines might interfere. In fact, the severity of the situation demands Admiral intervention.
Lastly, the Final War. It seems the war is earlier than expected. We thought this war will take place after Luffy finds the One Piece. But that seems tough now. In fact, we are forced to believe that Act 3 will be the place where the War breaks out and wreaks havoc. Not all at once – this is more of a cold war right now. Kaido and Mom will take drastic measures to solidify the unity and then move onto finding the One Piece.
And that is where Luffy and the Grand Fleet come in. They are the direct opposition right now and they can nip this in the bud. If Kaido falls now, the Final War gets delayed.
One Piece Battle Theories:
We have made some changes. We are now inclining towards a different battle. Now that Big Mom is here, Jack is fifth in strength.
So here’s the match up -Queen fights Who’s Who and defeats him. Luffy fights Queen and brings a conclusion to the Sumo Inferno. Back then Queen rejected his challenge and shoved him off. Now they can fight for real.
