Record of Ragnarok Episode 1 will be releasing this Thursday and fans are waiting for the first episode of the controversial series ‘Shuumatsu no Valkyrie’ for a long time. The manga is pretty good with various plot twists and fans are expecting that the anime keeps the same standards.
The story follows where Gods from different worlds gather and have a meeting about fate of Earth. After voting, it has been decided that the earth will be destroyed but humanity is given a one last chance. Record of Ragnarok Episode 1 Release Date
Record of Ragnarok Episode 1 is set to premiere on 17 June 2021. It is not confirmed that Netflix will drop all 12 Episodes in one go or they will be released weekly. The time for the series premiere is not confirmed but it is expected to be released around 12 AM PDT.

Fights that are getting adapted in this Season
As per the official poster and the trailer, this 12 episode action-filled season is going to adapt the first three fights from the manga.
1. Lü Bu vs. Thor (Episode 1-4)
The first fight will be between Lu Bu ( A Chinese military general and warlord from Imperial China) and Thor ( German God with a hammer and lighting powers).
2. Adam vs. Zeus (Episode 5-8)
The second fight will be fought between Adam (The first man on the earth) and Zeus ( The god of the sky in ancient Greek mythology).
3. Kojiro Sasaki vs. Poseidon (Episode 9-12)
The third fight will be between Sasaki Kojiro (A Japanese swordsman, Protagonist of Vagabond) and Poseidon (Brother of Zeus, The God of the sea, uses a trident as his weapon).

Shuumatsu no Valkyrie Plot
Every one thousand years, Gods from different worlds gather and have a discussion over the fate of humanity. This is decided by a voting system and this vote decides that either the human race will continue to live or will be eradicated by gods. In the recent meeting, all gods have agreed on finishing the human race.
At the very last second, A Valkyrie interrupted and made the proposition that the human race should be given a chance and their fate must be decided on the basis of one-on-one fights between Gods and Humans. Gods agree to this as their pride was on the stack.
So a tournament starts where 13 Gods will face 13 Human warriors and the team reaching 7 victories first will decide the fate of the human race.
