Reincarnated as a Sword’s Season Finale Confirms a New Season!

On Wednesday, the final episode of the anime based on Yuu Tanaka’s Reincarnated as a Sword aired. While viewers were wondering if and when a second season would be produced, that question was answered in the premiere episode.

The anime’s official website debuted a thirty-second commercial and visual for the upcoming season on Thursday, immediately following the season finale. However, at the present time, no additional information is available.

Fran and Teacher, with Fran flashing a victory sign, appear in the season’s primary promotional image.

The official website also debuted a new visual for the anime/film crossover That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond. The film’s protagonist, Rimuru, is seen here, along with Fran and Teacher.

Reincarnated as a Sword

There is a series of Japanese light novels called TenKen, written by Yuu Tanaka and illustrated by Llo. In October 2015, it began as a web novel on the website Shsetsuka ni Nar.

The protagonist is a human who, after dying in our world, is reborn in another as a sword. It’s strange, but he remembers everything else about his human life except his name. He decides to accept his fate and finds someone to own him.

A slave catgirl named Fran finds the sword, kills a bear with two heads with it, and names it “Teacher.” After that, the two go on an adventure together.
