Robot TV Anime Series Ancient Girl’s Frame Set to Premiere on Funimation
Who runs the world? Girls. Who protects the Earth from cosmic threats while operating a robot? Also girls.
A sci-fi action-adventure anime featuring a group of badass girls titled “Ancient Girl’s Frame” is set to premiere on Funimation on October 10, 2021.
This original mecha-anime series takes place at the end of the twenty-first century in a world overrun by huge lifeforms from space known as Nergal. We follow the quest of Reika Minamiya, a pink-eyed protagonist, on her quest to find her missing-in-action older sister.
Reika is a member of an anti-Nergal AG unit, where she and her fellow recruits must learn to control an ancient humanoid robot known as “G’s Flame.”
Controlling a large armored robot is not easy, as shown by many mecha-anime.
But can Reika, Luna, Akhena, Pearl, Reiu, and Eyre pilot specialized mecha to combat monstrous creatures who threaten humanity? We’ll have to follow the girl gang to find out!
The upcoming anime series is produced by a Chinese company, Seven Stone Entertainment.
Under the direction of Osamu Yamasaki, who is known for Time Travel Girl and Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Ancient Girl’s Frame is certain to carry us away to a world of space-action drama.
Ancient Girl’s Frame will be streamed in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Chile, and Columbia, as part of Funimation’s Fall 2021 anime season.
