The story of Yuri is My Job! starts with the cutest high school girl Hime, who everyone considers an angel. Little do they know that every element of her personality is fake, and her goal is to be noticed by a billionaire who would eventually marry her for her charms.

Obviously, nothing will go according to her plan as this is an anime, after all. She gets stuck working in a themed maid cafe, where she learns that there are other people who can fake it better than her.
Experience an unexpected take on the yuri genre with the Yuri Is My Job! Anime. In the brand-new trailer, you can see Hime acting her heart out in the private school-themed cafe.
The video introduces Hime along with Mitsuki, a senior at work who carries an air of elegance. Some of the other characters include the cafe’s manager, a gyaru who works there, and Hime’s friend from school.
During work, Mitsuki acts as a sweet senpai, to the point that she can even deceive Hime. Only in the last few seconds of the video can you see her whispering to Hime how much she hates her.
The dual personalities of Hime and Mitsuki are also exhibited in the latest visuals of Yuri Is My Job! The first visual shows them in character for their customers, where they both treat each other as loving sisters.
In the very next illustration, we can see Mitsuki’s frowning face and Hime, who is scared out of her wits.
Studio Passione and Lings are animating Yuri Is My Job! and some of the staff members have just been revealed:

The voice actors behind the two bickering protagonists are reprising their roles from the manga’s promotional video:

Unfortunately, circumstances will lead to them becoming Schwesterns (a concept of swearing sisterhood in shojo series) in the cafe, and Mitsuki will be the least happy with the development.
Hime, the poor girl, will also develop a crush on the most unlikely person in the whole anime, and watch her dream of marrying a billionaire go down the drain.
About Yuri Is My Job!
Yuri Is My Job! is a manga by Miman which was published in the Comic Yuri Hime magazine in 2016. Kodansha has licensed it in English and the manga is set to receive an anime.
The series focuses on Hime, a cute girl whose charms can melt anyone, but all of it is a facade as her goal is to marry a billionaire using her attractive personality. One day, she accidentally bumps against Mai, a cafe manager, and finds herself working in her place.
The cafe has a private school theme and there she meets Mitsuki. Mitsuki seems elegant and kind at first, but soon she turns out to be quite a moody girl who hates Hime’s guts.
