Get ready to celebrate a summery Christmas as ORENDA brings you their newly produced anime film Santa Company: Manatsu no Merry Christmas (A Merry Christmas in Summer).
Mint, Thomas, and Noel return to wish you a Merry Christmas once again, but this time, they’ll be delivering more than just presents.
Santa Company: Manatsu no Merry Christmas will be debuting worldwide on January 29 at 8:00 a.m. in Japan through MyAnimeList.
The anime movie will proudly deliver the message of marine wastage and teach us how to tackle the problem in an informative way by joining hands with the CHANGE FOR THE BLUE initiative by the Nippon Foundation’s Umi to Nippon Project.
This awesome initiative will be a great way to educate children and adults to not throw stuff into the ocean and always recycle so that the Earth that we live in becomes a better and happier place.
Idol group STU48 is going to be performing the ending theme song “Hitorigoto de Kataru Kurai Nara.”
Director Kenji Itoso is returning to the franchise and is in-charge of the script writing as well.
The stellar cast from the previous Santa Company short film includes:
Characters | Casts | Other Works |
Mint | Haruka Tomatsu | Asuna (Sword Art Online) |
Thomas | Rie Kugimiya | Kagura (Gintama) |
Noel | Mami Yamashita | Margay (Kemono Friends) |
Edison | Toru Furuya | Amuro Ray (Mobile Suit Gundam) |
Since manga and anime have such a huge influence on the lives of people that an initiative introduced in such a manner might be the best way to promote the save marine lives movement.
Japan has always had a streak for promoting certain initiatives through the means of anime and manga.
Anime like Bakuten!! and Misaki No Mayoiga are also part of an initiative to promote progress 10 years after the Tohoku earthquake and Tsunami.
