Scissor Seven Releases Action-Packed Trailer For Season 3
Even though donghua have gained a lot of attention lately, there is still a lack of widespread acceptance for the genre.
This is very apparent in the case of Scissor Seven, which is just as hilarious and action-packed as any anime out there, yet many people aren’t aware of the series.
The series revolves around Seven, a former assassin who has lost his memory but now works as a barber to settle his dues. With 2 seasons already under its belt, the donghua will soon return for its third just after a year.
The Netflix Anime YouTube channel has released a trailer for the upcoming Scissor Seven season 3. The new season of the donghua will premiere on Netflix on October 3, 2021.
The trailer is jam-packed with action scenes featuring the other assassins. From swords, chains, and telekinesis to a straight-up cyborg, there is everything. It also features a few hilarious scenes that we have come to love from the series.
Seven, along with his spiritual guide Dai Bo will continue their journey to regain Seven’s lost memories. Although we do not know enough from the first two seasons, we just might get some major reveals during this one.
So, this might be the right time to jump on the bandwagon.

This series does not take itself too seriously and tends to throw out a gag or two no matter what the situation. It is very reminiscent of One Punch Man in that way, along with all the weird superpowers of course.
You never know what to expect with this one. Even if you do not understand what’s going on, everything works well. This is one of those hidden gems nobody talks about.
About Scissor Seven
Scissor Seven, as Kalso known as Killer 7 is a Chinese streaming television animated series. It was released under the name Scissor Seven on Netflix.
To the casual eye, the amnesiac bounty hunter Wu Liuqi looks quite intimidating. With his deadly telekinetic scissor techniques and his ability to seamlessly transform into anything, one would not expect his modest demeanor.
In fact, Wu is quite terrible at his job. Often times the freelancer can be found botching an assassination or targeting the wrong person. While his failures could be due to his subpar skills, it usually boils down to him being a normal kid, with a heart unsuited for his line of work.
Accompanied by his feathered friend Dai Bo, Wu is on a simple quest to regain his memories. Although his inconspicuous day job as a hairdresser and his after-hours occupation are simply a means for him to repay debt, his various ventures seem to intertwine with his pursuit to recover his lost past.
