The First Episode Of Me And Roboco Has Screenshots!
Next week will see the release of Me & Roboco’s anime adaptation, directed by Shuhei Miyazaki. In the meantime, the first episode’s screenshots have been made public, providing us with an additional sneak peak inside the anime.
Shuhei Miyazaki created the futuristic comedic manga Me & Roboco. In May of this year, the anime adaption was announced. The anime’s debut trailer, which included information on the cast and crew, the opening song, and the release date, was made available on November 13.
On December 4, 2022, TV Tokyo and other affiliated channels will broadcast Me and Roboco. The length of each episode will be around five minutes.
The robot maid is unquestionably at the center of the episode’s plot, even though the screenshots above do not adequately convey it. Although the environment and characters strongly resemble Doraemon, they also appear to be targeting adult audiences.
It’s interesting to note that the first volume’s cover mimics the illustration from Doraemon’s debut book. Me & Roboco, which has been published since 2020, placed 13th in the 2021 Next Manga Awards. It also ranked 11th on the list of 2022 comics that were recommended by Nationwide Bookstore workers.
About Me & Roboco
Shhei Miyazaki created the Me & Roboco manga series, which debuted in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2020. The English-language chapters of the manga are published digitally by MANGA Plus and Viz Media.
It takes place in a futuristic Japan in an undisclosed year. Except for Bondo, our lead character, every family has a robot maid. Despite being unable to do housekeeping, the maid he tries to hire is a muscular woman who can crush trucks.
The numerous escapades of Bondo and his extraordinarily resilient and sensitive AI maid then begin.
