Season 2 of BOFURI Rescheduled for an Early 2023 Release
BOFURI is the perfect anime for everyone who is not a fighter and would invest in prevention rather than the cure. Its protagonist, Kaede, is probably the most sensible one I have come across yet, and you’ll soon realize why.
The story starts with Kaede being urged by her friend Risa to play the new VRMMORPG, NewWorld Online. Scared of getting hurt in the game, Kaede maxed out her defenses and named her character Maple.
Such a move would be highly criticized in the gaming world, but it made Maple one of the game’s strongest and most formidable players. Due to such a unique plot, the anime got another season, for which we’ll have. to wait longer than we expected
BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense anime’s second season has been rescheduled for a January 2023 debut. The anime’s latest trailer confirms the delay while teasing the guild’s new adventures.
Season 1 was all about setting up a guild, recruiting strong players, and earning a name for themselves. It ended with Maple Tree becoming one of the game’s top-rated and most feared guilds.
A major chunk of the credit goes to Maple herself, who unknowingly made herself immune to various attacks and acted as a true guild master. If not for her, Maple Tree would have been obliterated during the early stages of the fourth event.
Other members, like the fighters Sally (Risa), Kasumi, Mai, and Yui, contributed significantly to the guild’s victory. Their success was a team effort, and none of it would have been possible had they not combined their strengths.
The guild aims to carry the same mindset and energy as they move forward in the game. Such an unshakable bond is the reason why Maple Tree might go on to become greater than the Order of the Holy Sword.
Bofuri Reviewed: Is The Action Adventure Worth Watching?
As shown in the trailer, Maple Tree is in for another wholesome yet action-filled adventure that will bring them new challenges.
Needless to say, I’m desperately looking forward to the next season of this thrilling and cute anime.
