Shenmue the Animation Series’ New Trailer Depicts Ryo’s Firm Resolve
Ryo has set out on a journey to avenge his father, and Shenmue the Animation is here to make us witness this epic tale.
Adapted from the popular Shenmue video game, this anime will show us how Ryo became the ultimate martial artist during his revenge quest against his father’s killer.
What Ryo didn’t know was that he was also stepping into the world of mystical forces far beyond human understanding.
We all know how well martial arts and mystical phenomena blend, and this anime will be another solid proof of it.
Crunchyroll and Adult Swim’s Shenmue the Animation TV series has revealed a new trailer showing Ryo’s unwavering resolve to become stronger and find his father’s killer. The anime is scheduled for release on February 5, 2022.
The trailer revolves around the mysterious mirrors that Lan Di, Ryo’s father’s killer, is after. It is revealed that Ryo’s father was killed because he was protecting one of the two mirrors.
Ryo starts searching for Lan Di while wondering what kind of power the mirrors hold. As the trailer ends with some badass scenes, we see that Ryo’s father left more puzzling mysteries for his son to figure out.
Shenmue the Animation franchise also revealed an excellent new key visual featuring all the main characters from the show.
