SK8 The Infinity Teases New Anime Project! Upcoming Season 2 or New Movie!?
SK8 the Infinity is a refreshing sports anime that focuses on a protagonist who is not a prodigy skateboarder. Reiki’s friend, Langa turns out to be the skating genius. However, that leads to no animosity between them.
In fact, you’ll keep laughing at the antics of the duo as they make fun of each other and indulge in the thrill of skating. After the original anime ended, fans thought they had no other way to connect with the series again.
To their surprise, SK8 the Infinity has announced a brand-new anime project for the series!
Will it be an anime series or a movie? No one is sure of the format yet. However, with the recent tendency of the anime industry towards movies, I will not be surprised if Reki and Langa get a much-deserved theatrical premiere!
Of course, it’d be a shame if the news just ended there because not one but TWO stage plays have been announced for SK8 the Infinity. The first stage play will debut this December while the second is scheduled for January 2022.

Stageplays are always welcome as they provide us with handsome actors we can simp for. However, a Season 2 or a whole new movie decision will make fans equally overjoyed!
What do you think the next project will focus on? More Reki and Langa shenanigans? Langa’s future decisions? Or maybe some much-needed Kojiro and Kaoru fluff! The possibilities are endless.
Studio Bones is definitely making its fans very happy and I hope that the new project reveals the trailer and visuals soon!
About SK8 the Infinity
The brand new “SK8 the Infinity” original anime by Studio Bones debuting in Winter 2021.
The anime focuses on a second-year high schooler, Reki, who loves skateboarding. He gets mixed up in “S,” a dangerous no-rules underground skateboard race at an abandoned mine.
The plot follows dirty racers, AI racers, and other intriguing individuals to compete in the “youth skateboard race battle.”
