Breaking the horrible stereotype created by the hentai industry, Slow Loop brings you a refreshing yet emotional story of two step-sisters who bond over the mutual love and fascination of fishing.
The anime adaptation was announced in December 2022, and I’ve been looking forward to it ever since. All the waiting around is now finally over as the franchise has revealed a premiere date.
Slow Loop anime series has announced its January 7, 2022 premiere with an endearing PV featuring the protagonist Hiyori and Koharu’s everyday life.
The PV also includes Hiyori’s childhood friend Koi, who has become my favorite character in the story. Koi is not only an amazing friend but is also mature for her age due to her irresponsible fishing-addicted father.
Since this is a light-hearted show, there isn’t anything very dramatic or sensational. The video includes a few glimpses that depict the characters’ personalities and some hilarious scenes from the anime.
We also get to see the step-sisters bonding over various things. For instance, Hiyori teaches Koharu to catch fish while the latter makes a delish meal for her step-sister.
The franchise also unveiled a key visual featuring Hiyori, Koharu, and Koi going off to fish in a fall setting while their friends prepare food for the camping trip.

The second key visual of the TV anime “Slow Loop” has been released.
Hiyori, Koharu, and Koi are heading for fly fishing, and Ichihana, Futaba, Aiko, and Kaede, who start cooking, depict a fun fishing camp.

Slow Loop is probably the cutest and most wholesome anime I’ve ever seen with a story that is so well written and captivating, I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of it.

About Slow Loop
Slow Loop is a manga by Kimuru which has been serialized in the Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine since September 2018.
The manga is about two step-sisters, Hiyori and Koharu. Hiyori’s first encounter with Koharu is when she goes fishing and Koharu foolishly tries to jump in the sea in March.
They both share food and realize they are step-sisters later that day.
