So I’m A Spider, So What? Spin-Off Manga to End With Volume 6
Kadokawa is releasing the sixth compiled volume of Gratin Tori’s ‘So I’m a Spider, So What? Kumoko Yonshimai no Nichijō’Spinoff manga on January 10, 2023. This volume has been listed as the final volume of the manga.
The manga is a spinoff of So I’m a Spider, So What? novels written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu. The novels focus on a spider’s four separate consciousnesses spawned from her parallel consciousness ability, which gain physical forms as four separate spiders.
The original novels are set in a world where the hero and a demon king are in constant dispute. During a battle, their magic travels to a different, ordinary world and ends up killing a classroom full of children.
These students are reincarnated into a magical world where the protagonist, who scores the lowest in the class, is reincarnated as a monster spider. The plot follows the protagonist as she navigates this new world in the form of a monster spider.
The novel series was first published on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in May 2015. Kadokawa published the 16th novel volume on January 8, and it is ranked as the second-best novel series in the 2018 edition of the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! guidebook.
The manga spinoff for the series was launched in July 2019 on Kadokawa’s Young Ace Up website. Kadokawa published the manga’s fifth volume in November 2021.
A television anime adaptation of the novels premiered in January 2021.
About So I’m a Spider, So What?
So I’m A Spider, So What? is a light novel series written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu.
The plot revolves around an average high school girl who is suddenly reborn as a spider in a different world. Being at the bottom of the food chain, this spider has to do her best to survive despite the odds and the monsters in the dungeon.
