Solo Leveling 116 will contribute in easing up all the malice present in this chapter. It was a dark one and focused a lot about dark existences – inside and outside Sung Jin-Woo. Fans can’t wait for the new chapter and all the crazy events that await.
Slowly but surely we are getting a deeper look at Sung Jin-Woo. As cool and amazing as his power his, we still have no idea what it is and how the system works. Now as we approach the Cartenon Temple arc, we are getting better ideas of this system. The temple arc will probably end with giving us all the information needed to understand the system.
That was the inside darkness; now the outside. Jin-Woo has found his guild name and will probably go on expeditions soon. But what about the United States? How will they intercept him and coerce him into jumping ship? And what exactly is Kamish? Can it return?
The upcoming chapter will bring us to the climax of the first part of the AhJin Guild arc. The second part will come within the next 5 chapters and focus on Jin-Woo’s next mission. This means a lot of action and domination is coming our way.

Solo Leveling 115 Recap:
In the United States Hunters Bureau, Adam White and Norma Selner inform David Brennon about Sung Jin-Woo. They categorize Jin-Woo as one of the Kings, which makes him a National Level Hunter for the Americans. But it is different.
Norma explains that the awakened hunters have powers from ‘the other side’, and have a light emitting – she calls them Kings. But Jin-Woo had a shadow in him; he is Darkness. David is curious is Jin-Woo is evil or not. But that is not the point.
Jin-Woo doesn’t borrow power from anyone; he is the power itself, limitless potential. Director David still wants Jin-Woo on their side. But he needs a different tactic. He takes Adam to floor B24. On the way he reminds Adam of the first S-Rank gate they had to face.
It destroyed a major portion of the country and of the huge squad of Hunters gathered, only 5 survived. These 5 hunters became known as National Level Hunters, and they had executed Kamish, a dragon. But that raid had an upside.
In Floor B24, they have stored a Runestone. It is the victory reward for defeating Kamish. David plans to use this to bring Jin-Woo to their side.
Elsewhere, Jin-Woo admires how much he has developed. He talks with his sister about his powers and his new guild. That is when he is suggested the name – Ahjin Guild. It is literally Jin-Ah’s name reversed and it means ‘I GO FORWARD’. Jin-Woo likes the name.
Meanwhile, Hunter Cha Hae-In is ashamed and obsesses over her last meeting with Jin-Woo. She wonders why he saved her and whether he is interested in her. As she lays in her bed, she suddenly remembers a vision of Min Byeong-Gu. In this vision, the dead healer told her to warn Jin-Woo to be wary of his own ability.
Solo Leveling 116 Spoilers:
First of all, a spoilers alert for everyone who doesn’t want to know anything about the chapter before the official release.
Solo Leveling Chapter 116 will not have Sung Jin-Woo dealing with US. In fact, David and Adam are quite sneaky. They will wait for their chance – a proper opportunity to bait Sung Jin-Woo. So for now, we can forget about the Americans and their recruitment.
Here we should address Norma’s vision. She saw Darkness in Jin-Woo and someone stared back at her. Who was that mysterious character? Was it the system personified? Actually, that was Ashborn – the former Shadow Monarch. He is Sung Jin-Woo’s destiny.
Who is Kamish and what is this Runestone? Kamish was a dragon and humanity’s greatest calamity. Defeating the magical beast was an immense task. US Hunters Bureau still have its bones and the Runestone it left. Later in the story, Jin-Woo will attempt to extract it’s shadow. Will he succeed? Time will tell.
As for the Runestone, it is exceedingly strong and needs an equality capable wielder. It allows the user to deploy “Dragon’s Fear’ ability. Jin-Woo will require it later on in his journey. For now, this much info is sufficient.
Solo Leveling 116 will probably introduce the Knights Guild and Jin-Woo’s new mission. Our hero will collaborate with the guild to take down an exceptionally strong A-Rank gate. But the situation will turn grave when Jin-Ah’s school will be attacked. With Jin-Woo busy fighting in an A-Rank Gate, who will protect Jin-Ah? Jin-Woo does keep shadows but will they be enough?
Solo Leveling 116 might also clear up more about Jin-Woo shadow exchange ability. SO far we knew he can swap places with his shadows anywhere in the world. But what is they are separated by a gate? Will Jin-Woo still manage to swap places?
