After the webtoon ended this week, fans could be heard sobbing all around the world. The scenario was so desolate that only a continuation of the series could calm people down.

It was thus at the nick of time that a Solo Levelling anime adaptation’s news was leaked. An anime is reportedly under production already.

Now, don’t get your hopes too high because this is a news leak. Still, since this is from a trusted source, you better believe the creators will have a big announcement to make soon.

Jinwoo’s journey has spanned a total of 179 chapters. Although we could see the finale approaching, the abrupt end caught me off guard. I really expected a bit more of a closing statement from the webtoon.

Well, what’s done is done, and I guess we should look forward to this new development now. No studio or release date has been announced yet. (Do you think MAPPA will snatch up this bad boy too?)

Crunchyroll licensed webtoons like The God of High School and Tower of God, will Solo Levelling receive the same treatment?

Popular K-pop band, The Boyz is performing a new OST for the webtoon, and it has already sparked rumors about an anime adaptation.

Solo Leveling is so popular that it’s surprising it hasn’t received an anime yet. (The anti-Japan elements in the webtoon might be blamed for this.)

If it does get animated, you best believe all major shonen series will be up against a tough competitor.
