Soukou Musume Senki Unveils Riko CV; OP And ED Artist Signed

Based on a 2018 RPG game, the upcoming Soukou Musume Senki anime has it all – cute characters, adrenaline-pumping action and immersive storyline.

The new anime will tell the story of five girls who are given a mission to destroy a lifeform called “Mimesis”. A new CV was released and it focuses on Riko, the bubbly sharpshooter of the team.

Soukou Musume Senki, the video game was released in 2018, after which it saw a huge surge in popularity, paving its way for a TV anime adaptation set to premiere on 6th January 2021.

The official website for the anime has just released a character video for the character Riko (Rikako Aida). The website has also announced the names for artists performing the anime OP and ED theme song.

The CV introduces Riko to the fans and gives a glimpse of episodes featuring the character. We also find some never before seen clips of the episodes from the anime.

Rikako Aida who plays the character Riko in the anime is going to be performing the opening theme song “Dream Hopper” as announced in the official site.

The ending theme song “Compass Song” will be performed by vocaloid singer Kano.

Both artists have expressed their happiness collaborating with the Soukou Musume Senki anime and look forward to both the anime and the collaborative project.

The anime will focus on telling the story of five girls who are deprived of their daily life and given the responsibility of wearing tactical weapons called “LBX units” on their body.

The girls are handed a mission to wipe out and annihilate some metal lifeforms called Mimesis, which continues to erode the multiverse.

Without much explanation given to the girls, they are forced to live as mercenaries who travel across the multiverses.

We can’t wait to immerse ourselves with the journey of these girls as they fight monsters, make friends and discover new meaning in life!

Also known as Armored Girls, it was an RPG game released in 2017, and a reboot of the game known as Soukou Musume – Mizel Crisis is slated for 2020 release.
