Soukyuu no Fafner: The Beyond’s Teaser Packs A Fierce Battle And A Confession

It is a story that started as a war between two species and evolved into a complex and brutal fight of morals and principles. The story asks you, ‘What do you believe in?’ rather than ‘Which side are you on?’

The wait is finally over.

Fafner of the Blue Sky: The Beyond series released a PV for the final three episodes of the series: 10, 11, and 12. They will make their theatrical release on November 5, 2021.

The Beyond series is centered around the main character, Sōshi Minashiro, and the PV starts with a philosophical monologue of his.

The trailer shows some happy times that Sōshi had. Miwa Hino, another main character of the series, also reminds him of what he is fighting for. The scene then jumps right into a fierce battle of Fafners, human-controlled robots.

About Soukyuu no Fafner

Fafner in the Azure is a Japanese mecha anime franchise created by Xebec in collaboration with Starchild Records.

The story focuses on Tatsumiyajima, the central island in a sleepy backwater of the Japanese isles. Not much happens there, and the island’s young people go to school knowing that their lives are likely to remain peaceful and undisturbed.

Or so they have been taught… but the truth is different. The fate of mankind is on the line, and Tatsumiyajima is the last line of defense against a hostile and incomprehensible enemy.
