Speculations Continue as Popular Fighting Manga “Baki Dou” Goes on Hiatus

Keisuke Itagaki’s character “Baki Hanma” has been quite popular with martial arts fans worldwide. The ongoing “Baki Dou” manga series has been widely appreciated for its well-choreographed fighting sequences and character development.

A sequel to the original “Baki the Grappler” manga, it follows the adventures of Baki Hanma as he finds himself entangled in a secret cloning project. He has to fight the cloned Miyamoto Musashi to regain his top spot. Unlike the previous series, this one incorporates the use of ultra-modern technology in the storyline.

The Weekly Shonen Champion announced that the “Baki Dou” manga would be on hiatus till June 3.

Neither the author nor the publishing magazine has given any reason for the hiatus. It is possible that the author is facing health issues and needs a break from work. Medical issues are pervasive in the industry due to hectic schedules and work hours.

Fans also speculate that something big may be happening in the storyline soon, and Keisuke is taking his time to make it perfect. If that is the case, fans have every reason to be excited!
