The official Twitter account for Ancient Magus’ Bride manga announced that the franchise is coming up with a new original anime disc (OAD) series. It would be titled, ‘The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Mountain Haze.’

The staff members reported that the OAD series will be the first part of a new anime project. This three-episode OAD will be shipped with the manga’s 16th, 17th, and 18th volumes. The 16th volume will be released on September 10.
The trailer mainly revolves around Chise and Elias, showing us the scenes of their wedding. It features many fascinating magical creatures, including a dragon and a black-coloured wolf. We also get a rough idea about the antagonist of this new project.
