Stranger Things Could Return for Season 5 Teased by Creators
Stranger Things is coming back for season 5…well, most probably! No, this is not clickbait let me explain.
Creators Ross and Matt Duffer recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the future of the Netflix TV show and it seems all bright and stranger than ever. This could mean the premium Netflix series isn’t ending anytime soon.
Netflix has already confirmed that Stranger Things will return for its season four sometime in 2021.
Talking about a possible fifth, co-creator Ross Duffer confirms that season four will not be the end of the hit sci-fi show.
The pandemic may have done a lot of damage but it also gave the creators of Stranger Things time to expand on the storyline and might just be the reason we get another season!
“Season four won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show.
Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”
The first season focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the town, and the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities.
Set in the 80s, the supernatural drama stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Cara Buono, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, and Sadie Sink.
