Studio Ghibli Theme Park Also Opens!
Studio Ghibli produced and aired “Earwig and the Witch” in 2020. As they prepare for Miyazaki’s next project, they are developing the Ghibli Theme Park. This year, the Park will open for visitors in the Aichi Commemorative Park near Nagoya. Bringing together the magic of Hayao Miyazaki and the creative decisions of a dedicated team, the theme park has five major areas that are replicas from the movies. They recreated the central focus of some of their best works, such as the Dondoko Forest from “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Ghibli Large Warehouse Area” from “Spirited Away”.
