In an official announcement in July, it was confirmed that That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Anime Season 2 release will be delayed indefinitely. So Slime Anime Season 2 was a victim of COVID-19.
In an official announcement on their social media handle Production company stated that ‘Due to complication and new guidelines of work the production work is running late. We are trying our best but things are taking time so we are not rushing anything that affects the quality of our creation’.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 Release Date
The second season of the famous anime series was originally scheduled to release in October 2020. But now the release date is shifted to January 2021. The anime will air on January 12, 2021, at 11:00 PM JST for 12 episodes run, and after a three months break the second cour of the anime will be released.

The second season of the slime anime series is a 2 cour show. So, obviously, the second part of season 2 also postponed. Firstly, it was scheduled to be released in April 2021, but now it will release in July 2021 slot.
It may be further delayed as there is no announcement regarding the second cour release date but as per experts say and assumptions we can say that July 2021 will be its release date.
