The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Episode 4 Summary
The previous chapter concluded with Chise in an unfamiliar location, and this one picked up right where it left off. Rahab then welcomes her into her home after meeting her. While Chise is excused from gardening duties, Elias is met by Angelica Varley.
The bulk of the episode consists of them talking to other people about how they feel about each other. But Chise also finds out about Elias’ background. Which clarifies why he has certain peculiarities and quirks. Elias spent the most of their conversation gushing about Chise, the woman he loves, and how she has altered him.
At the episode’s conclusion, we get some excellent worldbuilding. This chapter explains their method of transportation between the college and the city, and it introduces a new element of the magical world of the series. In a similar vein, the climax establishes the future storylines by establishing that Lucy Webster, Philomela Sargant, and Zoe Ivy all have something against Chise.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Episode 5 What To Expect
Episode 5 of season 2 of The Ancient Magus’ Bride will undoubtedly pick up where we left off, at the University. The continuation of these plots is practically guaranteed, what with the last episode’s return to the magical academic fortress. In addition, Zoe, Lucy, and Philomela are highlighted in the final moments of the season finale. Indicating that they are important to the next big plot development.
It will also likely show what Elias has been up to since his last class at the College. After a student was nearly killed in an accident, it is unknown whether or not he will be allowed to return to teaching in the same capacity. The show might not say anything about this, but viewers can probably guess based on what they see in the following lecture or office discussion.
