Now that season 2 has finally been confirmed, I am just waiting for another bout of Alciel, Satan’s general, having a breakdown over household chores.

After the hero and the devil lord made their peace in season 1, it’s finally time to have a closer bond.

The second season of The Devil is a Part-Timer!! will be released in July 2022. A new trailer has just been revealed for the upcoming season.

Imagine being the demon lord and waking up to see a cute child calling you father. Even worse, the kid starts addressing your staunch enemy as the mother.

This cute little kid shown in both the trailer and the visual is a new character called Alas Ramus, who will debut in season 2.

Alas Ramus will be voiced by Hina Kino, who has previously played Sayaka Itomi in Katana Maidens.

The new visual also shows Sadao Mau and Emi Yusa taking care of Alas together. All the other characters don’t seem the least bothered by this development.

Catch Sadao Mau and Emi Yusa showing off their parenting skills in season 2. Is it possible to raise a child while balancing part-time jobs that can hardly make a living?

I guess both protagonists have to figure out how to best raise Alas while making sure Alciel’s blood pressure doesn’t go through the roof.

About The Devil is a Part-Timer!

The Devil Is a Part-Timer! is a Japanese light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by Oniku (written as 029). ASCII Media Works has published the series in Japan, while Yen Press has published the series in North America.

The story revolves around the Demon Lord Satan after he is stuck in the human world. Satan loses against the hero Emilia in his homeworld Ente Isla. He then takes one of his subordinates – Alciel and transports himself to the human world, where he is left powerless due to the lack of magic.

Both Satan and Alciel take human forms, and Satan takes up a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant to earn a living. Things get even more complicated once Emilia arrives under the guise of a human named Emi Yusa. This light-hearted comedy explores the interactions of “evil” and “good.”
