Season 2 Episode 7 Recap
Emi meets with the boys and Camio at the lighthouse. Camio informs them about Olba’s visit to the demon realm before. After Maou’s disappearance, the creatures in the demon realm got divided into two factions.
Camio tried to get both sides to make up but failed. With Olba’s knowledge to the demons about the existence of two Holy Swords, Camio came to Japan to secure the Holy Sword before the revenge faction could get their hands on it.
Emi senses a part of the revenge faction is heading for Japan and tells Maou to team up and handle it as they’re responsible for the occurrence.
Camio tells Maou he should use the sword he brought. Suddenly Amane shows up with the sword, telling Maou to step up and show how they will handle the situation.
Suzuno and Chiho were worried as Amane shows up. Amane reassures them that she’s not an enemy. Ciriatto, the demon chief, uses a Yesod Fragment to confirm Emi’s identity. A battle happens between Ciriatto and Emi.
Maou and the others appear in their true form to confront Ciriatto. He gives orders to Ciriatto to inform the others that he’s alive and is gaining enough strength to conquer the human world.
Maou already had one of the Holy Swords in his possession. After settling matters, Maou sends Camio and the revenge faction back to their demon realm.
The truth behind Amane and her customers is finally revealed. Emi asks Maou how he was able to return to his actual form. The sword Camio brought with him was made from one of Maou’s horns. Also, a Yesod Fragment was on the scabbard.
Maou hands the fragment to Emi. Emi asks if Maou isn’t worried about her power growing stronger. Maou with his usual attitude says that he’ll take over the whole planet once he gets his full power back. The girls violently react to Maou’s statement.
