The Forgers Receive a New Family Member in Ep 15 of Spy x Family

As if a spy father, assassin mother, and mind-reading daughter weren’t enough, episode 15 of Spy x Family adds another member to the Forger family. Is it a normal member? Is Anya receiving a sibling? Not quite.

After episode 14, you must already be familiar with Inu-san, the dog who can see the future. It saved Anya’s life and is one of the dogs that was experimented on.

Turns out, Anya is now attached to this big white mountain of fluff. Naturally, she demands that Loid lets her adopt the dog.

By the end of episode 15, Anya had acquired a pet dog, making the Forgers a family of four. Anya named the dog Bond, after her favorite cartoon character, Bondman.

A peek into Bond’s memories also shows how he was abused during the experiments. They barely fed him and brutally treated all the dogs since they were just test subjects. Due to these experiments, he gained precognition abilities.

Bond’s ability helps him to see brief glimpses into the future. Thus, if he acts correctly, then a foreseen future can be avoided.

This is the perfect new member of the Forger family. Bond’s ability can save the family members from dangerous situations, and given their occupations, it’s necessary insurance.

Spy x Family: Does Yuri find out Loid’s true identity?

The scene where Anya threatened Loid with her school grades was easily one of the funniest moments. This little girl already knows how to best blackmail not only her father but also a master spy.

Episode 16 is titled ‘Yor’s Kitchen’, meaning she will concentrate more on her horrendous cooking. Can a few cooking classes make her food palatable? I pity Bond’s hyper-sensitive nose as he has to face the smell of Yor’s food from now on.
