Yamato, a young man who helps anyone in need, is stuck in a sudden battle. He somehow manages to survive, but soon, he is recruited into a team of officials who fight every day to maintain peace. The person for whom he fought is dead, and now Yamato has to inherit his powers.

Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge has just published the last chapter of the Project Scard: The Justice of Beasts manga. Its anime adaptation was launched on 9th January 2021.

The manga’s compiled volume will be released on 5th March. The manga was first launched in September 2017, and it has been serialized for three and a half years.

Although Project Scard is not a long-running manga, it has undoubtedly left its own impact in the mind of manga fans. The anime adaptation is also going to be a good impetus for the volume sales of the manga.

Yui Kuroe, the author of Project Scard, had previously illustrated four mangas belonging to the K franchise of GoHands. K: Memory of Red, K: Days of Blue, K: Countdown, and K: Dream of Green are the mangas from when Kuroe was just starting out as a mangaka.

The franchise first produced drama CDs and character songs, and it was a voice actor distribution program. Soon, the franchise got its own anime series that is produced by Go Frontier.

About Project Scard

Project Scard is a manga by Yui Kuroe that was launched in September 2017. It ended its serialization in February 2021. Its anime adaptation started airing in January 2021.

The story is based in the Akatsuki Special Ward, where a rebellion overthrew the actual masters of the ward.

Three organizations called Helios, Artemis, and the Public Safety Bureau are in power. They employ agents called Scards, who have special powers granted to them.
