The official Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #44 reveals, that the artist of The Promised Neverland, Demizu Posuka, is working on a new manuscript for the series!

Fans speculate that it could be a one-shot, following the success of the previous one-shot manga, Spirit Photographer .

Or it could continue about the original TPN duo and their lives after reuniting in the human world, seeing as the manuscript is for the series. So, it shouldn’t be a completely new series!

Whether it be a sequel of the original series or a one-shot about the side characters, the manuscript promises to be as psychologically challenging as before.

About The Promised Neverland

Created by Kaiu Shirai, this series debuted in a Weekly Shonen Jump manga in 2016. Licensed by VIZ Media for an English Language release, this series has gained immense popularity, selling 4.2 million copies in a concise period.

It’s set in the year 2045. Emma, an 11-year-old orphan living in Grace Field House is a self-contained orphanage housing her and 37 other orphans.
