The Promised Neverland Reveals Opening Theme Song For Season 2

The second season of the fantasy thriller series, The Promised Neverland, will premiere in January 2021, and its opening theme song has just been revealed!

Emma, Ray, and Norman have finally escaped the Gracefield house along with all the children. They will be entering the forest outside the walls, which is no less dangerous than the demons.

An uncharted territory with horrors beyond their imagination waits for the Gracefield children.

The opening theme song of The Promised Neverland is identity by Kiro Akiyama. The second season of the anime will premiere on 7th January 2021 on the NoitaminA block of Fuji TV.

A new CM has been released for the opening theme. Nora narrates the video and guides us to the song.

Kiro Akiyama is a 24 years old solo singer from Japan. He has nine digital singles, two mini-albums, and one full album to his name. He debuted in the anime OST world with “Identity.”

Kiro Akiyama’s comment on the theme song and the anime has arrived. He stated that he is delighted to work on the music as he has followed The Promised Neverland manga ever since it started serialization.

The influence that the manga and anime had on him is immeasurable, and the color, sight, and scenes of the series have become a part of him. Because of being involved with the anime, he feels like the characters and their situations are even closer to him now.

A live-action film for the series will be released on 18th December 2020. The original manga series completed serialization in June 2020. A new one-shot manga called Spirit Photographer Saburo Kun was released in August 2020.

About The Promised Neverland

Created by Kaiu Shirai, this series debuted in a Weekly Shonen Jump manga in 2016. Licensed by VIZ Media for an English Language release, this series has gained immense popularity, selling 4.2 million copies in a concise period.

It’s set in the year 2045. Emma, an 11-year-old orphan, living in Grace Field House is a self-contained orphanage housing her and 37 other orphans.

The orphans are allowed complete freedom, except to venture beyond the grounds or the gate, which connects the house to the outside world.

One night, Emma comes to know the truth about the Orphanage and it’s connections to the demons.
