Naofumi and the Queen discussed how they were going to bring down the animal. The villagers tell them that the people who possess the vassal weapons to fight the Tortoise will only come back when the beast is awake once again. And so, Naofumi had nothing to do but to wait for the Seven Star Heroes to come back.
Afterward, the hooded woman came back to them, revealing that her real name was Ost Hourai. She tells the group that her job was to collect souls from the society and feed it to the beast so that they can permanently stop the Waves. But Naofumi did not agree with the plan that the team had forged. Towards the end of the chapter, Naofumo and the rest of the swordswomen of Ost get ready to head for the beast.
