The Setting of The Film is Highlighted in The Trailer for Detective Conan: Iron Submarine.
There are many intriguing characters in the Case Closed series, and Ai Haibara is among the top 5. Given how long this story has been going on, we may know everything there is to know about her.
Evidently, the franchise is aware that we’ve figured this out, and they’ve decided to come clean. The new trailer gives us a taste of the film’s history, which is necessary for this to occur.
The latest trailer for Detective Conan: Iron Submarine highlights the film’s underwater setting and main villain, Gin. Its opening day in Japan is set for April 14, 2023.
The state-of-the-art Pacific Buoy facility, which is about to roll out a brand-new global surveillance system, is introduced first. By integrating facial recognition technology with police surveillance cameras worldwide, this system will supposedly make it easier and quicker to locate wanted individuals.
Dangerous criminals, such as the Black Organization, will seek out the technology because of its potential benefits to them. Conan must prevent the criminal organization from obtaining this surveillance equipment at any cost.
The trailer also features a prominent executive from the Black Organization, who serves as the film’s primary antagonist. He’s on the trail of Ai Haibara, who turns out to have been an insider with the criminal organization before undergoing the same transformation that made Conan a child.
Ai’s history in the franchise is further established through a pivotal image that also features Conan and Gin. The tagline asks, “Are you Sherry?” in reference to the Black Organization codename Ai used while serving there.
Usually, the new Detective Conan film introduces a novel concept, but this time it seems like we’ll be seeing a familiar one.
None of us are prepared to see the suffering Ai has endured, as she is one of the most cherished characters in the series. But I can’t deny that we’re eager to find out the truth.
Detective Conan: Iron Submarine
The 26th film in the Detective Conan/Case Closed anime series is titled Detective Conan: Iron Submarine (Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine).
Engineers from all over the world have gathered on the island of Hachij-jima to watch the debut of a brand-new law enforcement system. The group, meanwhile, abducts a female engineer from the launch event because the data on her USB drive is crucial.
