‘The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash’ Anime Series Announced
Honobonoru500’s fantasy novel series ‘The Weakest Tamer Began A Journey To Pick Up Trash’ will be animated for television. TO Books, the publishing studio, made the announcement this Friday.
On November 11, 2022, TO Books unveiled an official website for the upcoming anime series, revealing the first visual of ‘The Weakest Tamer Began A Journey To Pick Up Trash’. However, any further information, including the voice cast, is yet to be announced by TO Books.
The visual shows how the main characters Ivy and Sora would look in the anime adaptation. Honobonoru500, the man behind the series, has also shown his gratitude, adding that he is excited to see Ivy and Sora come to life and looks forward to it.
‘The Weakest Tamer…’ tells the story of Ivy, a young girl with few memories of her previous life. She is reincarnated into a new world as a no-star monster tamer, the weakest of her kind. Her family has disowned her, and she leaves the house to survive on her own.
Ivy learns to live off other people’s leftovers. However, things change when she tames a slime-like monster named Sora. With Sora by her side, the two begin their journey to survival, which will also deepen their bond as friends.
Despite the plot starting off as an isekai story, it will be interesting to see how it actually goes in the anime and what it mainly focuses on.
