Though not many details about the movie are released in the trailer, we can get some glimpses of what appears to be Vasemir. We can see him preparing to battle one ghastly-looking demon. However, the whole vibe of the trailer evokes fear and despair as we catch terrifying glimpses of a wolf howling in the background and some mutilated demon.
The entire background is full of dark colors and the trailer does look terrifying. Now, that’s what we call entertainment!

The plot of this animated drama is set on a large mass of land called “The Continent”, the design of which is fictional and inspired by medieval architecture. This anime film is set years prior to the events that transpired in the original “The Witcher”.
The plot focuses on the character of Vasemir, who later became a mentor to silver-haired Geralt. Vasemir has to fight off a looming threat that threatens to disrupt the peace of the entire continent. Though he’s busy with slaying monsters and demons for rich bounties, he’s forced to come face to face with his tumultuous past.
This film is all the more important, considering that it will hold the keys to understanding the events of the wildly popular The Witcher. Beau DeMayo, the scriptwriter, promised viewers in an interview they’re going to make sure this anime film stands out on its own.
