The three new episodes of the live-action will adapt the stories from the two published volumes of the spinoff manga. The manga started its publication in 1997 in an episodic format, with the latest installment titled “The Run” debuting in the Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2018.
Each episode of the series has our hero Kishibe Rohan getting roped into a paranormal mystery. We follow him as he uncovers the secrets using his power “Heaven’s Door,” which can turn others into books.
You, too, will be hooked into this uniquely “JoJo” horror series, leaving you wanting more.
The first three live-action episodes were praised for their direction and acting and have received the Galaxy Award in the television category in January 2021. Due to this, the majority of the original cast and crew will return for the new episodes.
