Tiger and Bunny Season 2 Announces April 2022 Premiere

The seven-year-long wait for Tiger and Bunny’s next season is finally over, and the thrill for it is beyond our imagination. After leaving us on a stirringly intriguing cliffhanger, the anime is back with the answers to all of our questions.

Season 1 would have ended on an ecstatic and satisfying note if not for that final epilogue scene.

Stern Bild City’s greatest criminal organization called Ouroboros is still operating, and we’ll be seeing more of them coming to blows with our protagonist duo.

Speaking about them, we all were missing Kotetsu and Barnaby for a long time, and the good news is that we have to wait just a bit more.

Tiger and Bunny have revealed that the anime’s season 2 is scheduled to premiere on April 8, 2022. The franchise also revealed a PV previewing the anime’s opening theme’ kaleido proud fiesta’ by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN

Netflix will stream the anime’s first 13 episodes all at once on the same day.

The subtitled trailer by Netflix starts with a good old banter where Barnaby calls Kotetsu an ‘old man,’ much to the latter’s annoyance. 

More and more heroes and NEXTs are glimpsed in the trailer, some familiar old faces and some new ones too. I am looking forward to all the new characters we’ll get to see in the new season.

The trailer also glimpses two cool new suits for the duo and other badass gadgets. I am sure the fans went crazy after the PV teased it at the end.

The animation looks super sharp and immaculate in comparison to the first season, and the background music really got me fired up for the next one.

Moreover, Kotetsu and Barnaby don’t look a day older than when we last saw them, so I guess the story will pick up right from where it left.

While Kotetsu’s powers have diminished a lot, he still has tons of knowledge and experience that might help Barnaby. 

And if Wild Tiger does ever get into a compromising situation, he can now always rely on Bunny to save him.

Tiger & Bunny is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Sunrise under the direction of Keiichi Satou.

It is set in a futuristic city where heroes fight crime whilst promoting real-life sponsors, focusing on two superheroes, the old-fashioned Kotetsu T. “Wild Tiger” Kaburagi and the rookie hero Barnaby “Bunny” Brooks Jr., as their employers force them to work together.
