When some franchises get big, they tend to spawn a few spinoffs. Whether in the form of a movie or a different series about a character. Either way, fans do not seem to be getting enough of My Hero Academia, be it a manga, movie, or light novel.

For the release of the third My Hero Academia movie, they had already decided to give away special edition manga volumes in order to show their appreciation towards the fans. It looks like they are not going to stop at just that.

A light novel based on My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission movie will be released on 6th August 2021, the same day as the film’s release. The novel is written by Anri Takahashi.

The cover of the novel will be the same as the movie’s promotional poster which was released previously.

Anri Takahashi had previously written a similar novel for the second movie of the franchise My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising. He is also the author of the series’ spinoff series My Hero Academia: School Briefs.

The novel will be available on Amazon and will start shipping on the same day as the release.

It will be interesting to see how the events of the story are portrayed in the written format. Based on the previous movie’s novel, they will be just as great as the movie itself. While these do not tend to stray away from the main story, they might present events from a different point of view than the original format.
