Mikey is stronger than anyone else we have ever seen in the whole series and Takemichi is pretty much the weakest. So how will he defeat Mikey?
Mikey has a gang of 500 while Takemichi only has 50 people in his group. Every member of Tokyo Manji must defeat 10 from the rival group in order to win.
This is almost impossible since Mikey’s group has strong fighters like the Haitani brother, Waka, Bekei, Hanma, and many others.
The only ace up Takemichi’s sleeves is his good nature and his way with words. Takemichi must persuade Mikey with his words to stop this fight and come to the good side.
There’s also a chance that Senju might fight Mikey again. Last time Senju was utterly defeated and she immediately understood the power gap between her and Mikey.
But this time Takemichi’s life is at stake, so maybe Senju will go full power from the start and weaken Mikey for others to defeat him.

We get to see Takemichi’s character development in the upcoming chapter. The first panel of the chapter shows Takemichi going for Mikey directly, confidently.
But Kakuchou blocks his path, trying to stop him from moving forward. We see Takemichi’s backstory where he always thought himself as weak, but he then remembers his childhood days when he used to fight for good.
Kakuchou throws a punch but it gets dodged, then Takemichi sends Kakuchou flying with a single punch.
Everyone is shocked to see what just happened. Takemichi says to Mikey, “I am prepared to reach you”.
