Bleach
Bleach is one of the most famous anime shows. The series is an adaptation from the manga by the same name. The manga was made by Tite Kubo. Although Bleach had an anime, the anime didn’t cover the last arc in the manga. Luckily the last arc in the manga will be adapted in another anime adaptation. In this article, we will talk about the strongest characters in Bleach.
**Spoiler Alert**
This list will include characters that appeared only in the manga. The list will also rank all characters based on their power levels in the last arc of the manga.
Strongest Characters in Bleach
Bleach is one of the anime shows that have very overpowered characters. Villains and heroes alike almost every main character in bleach is OP in some way.
5. Yamamoto Genryuusai – Strongest Characters in Bleach
Captain commander of the Gotei 13 and the first squad’s captain. Moreover, Yamamoto is one of the strongest characters in the whole series. He is also clearly the strongest character showed in the anime. Despite not using his real powers in the anime he still is the strongest. Yamamoto is one of the characters that sadly we couldn’t see much of in the manga. His Bankai is strong enough that even our number one on this list was afraid of it. He wields a Bankai that threatens all of soul society. His Bankai can burn as hot as 15,000,000 degrees as well as erase matter with a touch.

4. Ichibe Hyousube
Ichibe Hyousube is one of the characters that anime fans couldn’t meet. The Gotei 13 consists of 13 squads that manage seiretei and the human world. Yet there is one squad that was not mentioned in the anime. Squad 0 is a squad that stays by the soul king’s side at all times. Squad 0 is also known as the soul king’s royal guard. Ichibei wields the darkness/blackness of the World. He can erase existence, use conceptual abilities including name manipulation, pull power from 100 years in the future. Ichibe is the oldest living Shinigami (over a million years old). He mastered the arts on the highest level (even being able to seal Yhwach’s corpse as the new linchpin with Kidō). He has dominion over names.
3. Aizen Sousuke
Aizen is one of the strongest characters that appeared in the anime. Aizen was also the strongest villain in the anime. He is immortal and on a higher level than Shinigami and hollows. Aizen also still has the hogyoku embedded in him. Aizen’s prowess is mainly from his Kidō abilities. Aizen was able to use a Black Coffin with no incantation and severely injure a captain in the anime. He also has his sword’s Kyouka suigetsu ability “complete hypnosis”.

2. Kurosaki Ichigo
Ichigo is the protagonist of the series. Many will wonder why Ichigo is number 2 on this list. There are 2 reasons. Firstly his high adaptability and rapid growth. Ichigo managed to become much stronger than he was in the anime only in one arc. In addition, he has Quincy, Shinigami and Hollow powers. Secondly is how absurdly powerful our number one on the list. Moreover, Ichigo is a being who according to Ichibe is qualified to replace the Soul King as the linchpin. He warned Yhwach with his final Shikai and Bankai.
1. Yhwach – Strongest Character in Bleach
Yhwach is the main villain in the last arc of the manga. Despite his Defeat, Yhwach is still the strongest character in the series. Defeating him required all of the people on this list as well as many more to work together. Yhwach has the power to take all powers(including the Schrifts). Even when he was reduced to the power level of a black ant his Almighty could still conquer the name hax of Ichibei.
