Trinkets: Netflix Releases Preview of Teen Show’s Finale Season

Your favourite shoplifters are returning with another adventure! The second and final season of Netflix’s Trinkets is all set for premiere this month.

The streaming service has just released a preview for the return of the series which follows three young shoplifters.

Season two of Netflix’s Trinkets will be out on August 25, 2020, nearly a year after the first one.

A grieving teenager finds an unexpected connection with two classmates at her new high school when they all land in the same Anonymous group.

The women form a strong friendship in the most unlikely of places – a meeting for Shoplifter’s Anonymous.

But their completely different personalities and personas in school help keep their friendship a secret: Elodie is new in town and adjusting to living with her stepmother after her own mother’s untimely demise; the overachiever Moe favors punk style and struggles with an absent father; while Tabitha is your typical upper-class teen who is a people pleaser and suffers an identity crisis.

Bright young stars Brianna Hildebrand, Kiana Madeira, and Quintessa Swindell are princesses of this young adult drama.

Teasing the return of the show’s season 2, Netflix said the following about the second season of Trinkets:

“Shoplifting led them to a priceless friendship, and now Elodie, Tabitha, and Moe will try to make sure their troubled pasts won’t rob them of the future.”

Based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Kirsten Smith, Trinkets has been adapted for the web by Smith, Amy Andelson, and Emily Meyer.

It was released on Netflix on June 14, 2019. In July 2019, Netflix renewed the series for a second and final season which is set to be released on August 25, 2020.
