In True Beauty Episode 12, we see that Soo Jin finally decides to her make Joo Kyung uncomfortable by revealing her real face to everyone at school. Meanwhile, she also tries to force Suho to like her by making him believe how “worthless” Joo Kyung is.

Throughout the episode, Soo-Jin collaborates with Joo Kyung’s bullies from her former school in conspiring against Joo Kyung only to get evidence to expose Joo Kyung’s real face.

She sends Seojun’s pictures to acquire the video of Joo Kyung as she was getting bullied and some pictures with her bare face. The very next day, Soo Jin sends the pictures to everyone. Naturally, all the students look at Joo Kyung with scrutiny in their eyes (according to Joo Kyung).

The bullies reveal her past to Seojun by showing them her bare-faced pictures to him. However, Seojun does not seem bothered by Joo Kyung’s looks. Joo Kyung is mortified by the latest events even though Suho tries to convince her that everything is okay.

The threat of the past repeating itself looms way too large. After these huge revelations, Joo Kyung seems to have lost all her friends. However, they are still ready to render their full support to her.

At the same time, Suho seems to get comfortable about opening up about his father with Seo Jun. They both begin to grow closer like the good ol’ days.

About True Beauty, Synopsis

True beauty is based on an 18-year-old girl, called Jugyeong Lim, who is bullied on the daily for being “ugly” and not fitting the strict beauty standards. Coming from a good looking family only added to her insecurities about her look and her low self-esteem.

Due to this, she takes the help of numerous tutorials and masters the art of makeup, also rising to fame as an Instagram influencer.

Jugyeong Lim proceeds to start afresh at a new school and is instantly considered the most beautiful girl in the class. Her double life is portrayed in the k-drama. She fakes being a pretty, prim-and-proper girl in her class and goes back to being a geek once she gets back home. However, she secretly lives in fear that her classmates will find out what she resembles behind the cosmetics!
